“ We are here from out of town for a hockey tournament and decided to stop somewhere local for a quick lunch in between games. So happy that we decided this was the place to go. The food was incredible, I mean best meal I have had in a very long time. We had the French onion soup, beet salad, steak and frites, fish and chips and buffalo chicken sandwich. Everything was cooked to perfection. The French fries are not frozen. 10/10 recommend anyone to come try out this great little cafe! ”
“ This restaurant was the best one of our two week trip. So many places to choose from in Thornbury and we chose this one and so happy we did. Jack was our server and steered us in the right direction for our meal choices. I got the blackened whitefish and my wife got the chicken parm. Oh my they did not disappoint in any way. A perfect 10 for my food and a perfect 10 for the chicken parm. I had a few bites ofer chicken parm and it was delicious. So we ended with the triple chocolate cake and wow that was a perfect 10 as well. Definitely will plan s stop in this area again and trysome of their other dishes. Thanks Jack for making it a great dining experience ”
“ What a great atmosphere and friendly staff. We’ve been here about four times now and you can’t beat the food, service, live music and atmosphere. We made a reservation in advance but when we showed up they had nothing down for us. They made good however and got us a spot within a very short time. Exceptional!!! ”
“ I was here in September and the food was nothing to write home about. But this time was completely different. I guess it all depends on who is in the back. It seems like a pretty busy Friday night and food took a little longer than I could hope for but it was WELL worth the wait. My Steak was a perfect medium rare and well seasoned. My friends fish tacos looked like they were built to perfection. The fish had a perfect sear and was amazing. Would 100% recommend anyone to stop by and give this place a try. ”

“ Had a lovely evening dining at The Corner Cafe & Grill after a beach day with friends. We ordered chicken strips, fish tacos, fish and chips and the halloumi cheese salad. We also ordered a few beverages and ice tea and considering the quality of the food vs. The bill it was reasonably priced. Our server, Jasmine, was lovely. She started us off with cold fresh water at the table. The table was ready with menus, napkins and plates right off the bat. She was very attentive and on it. Asked about allergies which was important as I have a pineapple allergy so I appreciated the care not many servers remember. Checked in with us, but not overbearing. There was an issue with the (delicious) fish and chips and it was resolved gracefully by her and the kitchen, but, again delicious. Presentation of all the dishes was phenomenal, including the chicken strips (lol). Location of the restaurant is a quick walk from the beach and everything about the restaurant was accessible. To conclude, this was a great post beach day restaurant. Really appreciated the service, food and vibe of The Corner. ”
“ Let me start by saying that Maggie was fantastic. She made great suggestions and every one of the dishes was as described.. The potato and leek soup was as good as any I’ve had. She recommended the chicken club and it was absolutely delicious!. Everything else we ordered was top-notch. Maggie was friendly, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor. We will definitely return and sit in her section. ”
